Within a few weeks of Sam's birth, we had a pretty sizable collection of videos and photos documenting his life. We started discussing the need to store back-up copies of the digital files.
Two years passed. A (ridiculously) large number of photos and videos accumulated on our computers, phones and video camera. Another babe was born. Another precious life to record and document.
Finally, in April, we purchased an external hard drive
and copied all of our photos and videos from our devices onto the drive. It took us another month to get the hard drive out of the house and into our safe deposit box.

This is one of those pesky tasks that require ongoing maintenance as we continue to record the moments of our lives. But, for now, I am so glad to have the first round accomplished.
